_ A Glance

Born in Alaska, 1985Photographing since 1992Professional since 2003My interest in photography came at a very young age. I can still remember getting my first camera - it was my seventh birthday. It began a passion that has yet to be quenched. From the very earliest moments of my discovery of capturing moments on film, I have always been drawn to photographing people. Friends, family, moments to be cherished forever. Visual reminders, memories that could be physically held.By age thirteen I'd gone from using a Kodak "point and shoot" camera to a full out SLR. My first "real" camera was a Canon A-1, my dad's that he'd had since shortly after returning from Vietnam. I loved that camera. It served us well on all of the adventures of life. Once the A-1 was retired and I was off to college I honed my craft with a Canon AE-1 before switching to digital in 2005.With nearly twenty years of experience in photography I am confident with my skills as a photographer and I still LOVE learning and pushing my creativity. I love meeting you, learning your story, and being a part of your moment. Be it a family photo, a senior year, or that most special of Wedding days. The personal connection is what tells the story, it's the story that only a photographer can capture.Let me be part of your story.Toni's work as been featured on travel and athlete websites since 2004. Most recently she made the main page of the Seavey's Kennel and Tours website - Ididaride.com - with her shot of Hugo (the star from Snow Buddies). She has been, unofficially, shooting figure skating and mushing events since 2005. When not photographing, Toni enjoys travelling with her best friend and being a nuisance with her camera. She also enjoys scrap-booking her many adventures, spending time with her family, and caring for her pug, Yuka.

Photography by Antonia uses the professional printing and galleries of SmugMug.com. They are a secured site that ensures the very best quality in prints and service.

Your photos will be uploaded 14 days after your shoot to a password protected gallery. Most galleries use the last name as the password, unless you ask for something different. You can forward your gallery to as many friends and family members you want and they can order their own package or prints, reducing the cost and the planning on your part! Grandma Jane can get just what she wants when she wants! Simple as pie!

Investment

Life moments are indeed priceless. Capturing those moments forever is something Photography By Antonia strives to do.Services Standard portrait sessions last from an hour to an hour and a half depending on location, group size, and/or baby time. Antonia is a natural light photographer, which makes each session unique and different. Flash and studio lighting sets are rarely used. Sessions can be done outdoors or "on location" in your home. Antonia can suggest several areas around town to shoot, or share your favorite place and make your session your own.Session fee is $50 for shoots in Anchorage, Kenai and Soldotna. Additional cost for travelling outside these areas. Session fee is due upon booking, with a full refund for cancellation up to a week before the shoot. If weather causes either party to cancel a new date will be set with no penalty.WeddingsYour wedding is just that, yours. I am honored to be asked to be a part of it. No wedding is like the next and as such each couple will want something different. It is very difficult to create packages to suit everyone. We will work together to give you exactly what you're looking for that fits your budget.Weddings are booked by groups of time. A Half Day (4-6 hours) is $600, Full day (5-9 hours) is $1000. A $100 deposit is due at booking to keep the date, included in the original price, and is non refundable.Your booking includes a complimentary engagement session, which is where we will get to know each other and discuss special touches you want for capturing your special day.After the Shoot14 days after your session or wedding, your photos will be uploaded to your own password protected gallery. Your password will be emailed to you. Packages and photos can be purchased through the gallery, and you can invite as many family and friends to look and purchase as well.Your photos will be edited with basic retouching, and other basic alterations. Black and White photography can be done at no extra charge, be sure to make me aware of what you want before the shoot.Collages and other special alterations can be requested for an added fee. Please contact me in advance so we may discuss what you are looking for. You may also inquire after viewing your proofs online.What to WearSolid colors work best. It is advisable to stay away from wild prints as they detract from the main subject: you. Be sure the colors of each person in the shoot compliments one another, and dress appropriately for the location.For your sessions bring as many outfits as you want, many seniors like to have formal, casual, and fun.
